Last weekend while I was in Florida, Sean got his first opportunity this Spring Training to dress in a Major League game. I got to the game in about the 4th inning and got there just as one of our good "baseball family" friends's hit a triple! I was walking in as he rounded 3rd. His wife Lisa was sooo proud. My family in Michigan and my mom here in TN were able to watch the game on TV and still think it was a homerun! :) Sean was on deck in the 9th inning, but unfortunatly wasnt able to get in and hit. BUT everyone was able to see him on TV! I wish I could have seen it, but I guess its way better to be there in person!
Tonight, he got called up again and is at the Yankee's field in Tampa with the Major League team! Hopefully this time, he gets in!
We are also about 95% sure Sean will be playing in Zebulon, NC on the Reds AA affiliate, the Carolina Mudcats. I dont know about Sean, but I am very excited for this season. We will be staying in some very nice & affordable apartments that some of the wives found and passed on to me. It will be so nice to be able to walk and see the girls during the day when I am there visiting, instead of having to drive across town!
I am flying down to Florida tomorrow to drive Seans car home. Since he will be playing in the Reds Futures Game, he will have no way to get it home. So after the Futures Game in Dayton, he will get to fly home for about 2 days and get his car before he has to report to NC. Riley and I cant wait to have him home! Even if it is only 2 days! :)
