On Thursday morning I was watching the weather man while I was getting ready for work. I overheard him say we were expecting 3-6 inches of snow on Friday...I didnt think much of it, because usually when they call for snow here we get just a little and its usually melted by the next day. As the day progressed it went up to 6-10 inches, and that night on the news it said 8-12! I still wasnt buying it. Friday morning came and it was raining outside, and was about 38 degrees. They were saying that by mid afternoon the snow was to start. I got off at 1 Friday because I wasnt really feeling well and wanted to go home and rest. When I got home, it was still raining but it was starting to turn into a thick rain...kinda like sleet. I came home took a nap and woke up to the yard COVERED and the street COVERED!!!

The snow continued to fall through the night, and we ended up with about 11 inches on snow! We NEVER get that much snow here and it has been so fun to watch Riley and Sean play in it! Being a Cali boy he isnt used to this much either! Here are a few more pics and a video of Sean sledding down the hill in our backyard on a car hood!

I am super jealous!! I want some snow! It finally got lower than 70degrees here, which is nice! I actually wore a scarf today, lol. Hopefully it stays cooler for Christmas!
