Jacksonville, here we come!! Maybe for good?!

Jacksonville, Florida....such a beautiful place. This was the one road trip that everyone always says is the best one becuase the hotel is amazing, the view is gorgeous, and The Landing is right down the street. A few of the girls and I decided it would be fun for us all to go.

Jacksonville really is what the guys made it out to be! I loved the view of the hotel and being able to go have dinner with my husband and eat outside by the water. Sean and I are in need of a change, and are talking about moving. We are in the stage right now of "where do we want to move" and Jacksonville is now high up on the list! We actually did some house hunting while we were there as well!

I was a little bummed Sean didnt get to play as much while I was there, but I was able to enjoy the company of the girls and actually walk around and see the whole stadium. Im usually stuck in my seat so I dont miss anything Sean does! I will say the stadium there was awesome! You can tell its a fairly new field! The one thing I wasnt impressed with...Mudcat girls help me out here...the "Sun Beams". These are the in between inning "entertainment" at this field. I honestly felt like I was at Hooters. No offense to Hooter girls or anything, but to me baseball games are a family atmosphere and I felt it was VERY inappropriate for these girls in the booty shorts and skin tight jerseys shaking their butts 1) in front of our guys dugout and 2) on the mound for the whole stadium to see. Im talking some Beyonce Booty-lichious too! Ugh! :)

We went out with some of the guys and girls a few times at The Landing and really had a great time! If we are still playing in the Southern League again next year, I will def make this trip again!
